In the final session with Whitworth artist Sally Gilford, the group looked at images from the Whitworth textile collections and thought about how they could work with these and their own designs to create fabrics. The group made samplers that incorporated african prints and stencils, whitworth textile patterns and bright vibrant colours. We can’t wait to see the final outcomes at their fashion show.
